Welcome to setiQuest - where The SETI Institute shares their ideas, science, and source code
There are many ways to help the SETI Quest

Are you ready to join the search? We have collaborated with Adobe Systems and The Hathersage group to develop setiQuest Explorer, an app that runs in your browser and on Android devices.
The software was released in beta in Mid March. New users are being added to the beta program regularly. You can sign up here to be included in the beta.
setiQuest Explorer makes it incredibly easy for you to search for evidence of extra-terrestrial technology. Who knows, you might be the first to spot a signal.
Keep in mind, however, that finding evidence requires patience. You may go through much data before you see something interesting. The data that you flag with be sent to many others, whose concurrence will result in reobserving of the target star, and more data that will be analyzed by scientists.
But patience has its own reward.

Are you a developer or a game designer?
Do you enjoy developing new apps?
Are you interested in creating new apps to advance the cause of citizen science?
You can see an example of such an app in the tab "Explore the Skies Yourself." While the current app - setiQuestExplorer - runs only on the web and Android, we are looking at apps that will run on some or all of the different platforms - Web, Android, IOS, others.
The goal of the software is to take data from the Allen Telescope Array, distribed via AWS, and display it in creative ways, so that users can identify signals easily.
You can contribute if you develop apps. You can also contribute if you think of creative ways of visualizing the data.
