Real-Time Data from the Allen Telescope Array. You help spot the signals - we go back and reobserve. |
Are you a developer or a game designer?
Do you enjoy developing new apps?
Are you interested in creating new apps to advance the cause of citizen science?
You can see an example of such an app in the tab "Explore the Skies Yourself." While the current app - setiQuestExplorer - runs only on the web and Android, we are looking at apps that will run on some or all of the different platforms - Web, Android, IOS, others.
The goal of the software is to take data from the Allen Telescope Array, distributed via AWS, and display it in creative ways, so that users can identify signals easily.
You can contribute if you develop apps. You can also contribute if you think of creative ways of visualizing the data.

We have made our SETI search software available to the open source community. We will be keeping the SonATA source code repository up to date as we make improvements. You are welcome to download the software and try it out for yourself.
