setiQuest members Stefan and Jrseti went to a hackathon called iOSDevCamp 2011, on July 15-17.

Part of the hackathon idea is that you think of an idea for an app and you try to code something up that weekend to show.  Being the first hackathon we have ever been to, we didn't get very far. But we learned some things and had a good time.

I created a WiKi page http://setiquest.org/wiki/index.php/Waterfall_Spaceout that explains what we did.

This forum topic is to discuss this project.

Xcode 4 or Xcode 3?

Did you use the Xcode 4 development environment for this project? If you did, did you like the new layout more than Xcode 3?

My developer program

My developer program subscription ran out. It is $100 to renew, I'll do that when I really need it again.

I downloaded the latest XCode, it cost $4.99. It is a lot better. Much more integrated.

Xcode 4.1 was released a

Xcode 4.1 was released a couple days ago. It only runs on Mac OS X Lion and it is free.

I don't plan on upgrading my only Mac, a Mac mini, to OS X Lion because I want to be able to test and support baudline on Snow Leopard. Not sure what I'm going to do but at least Apple's OS fragmentation isn't as bad as the Linux distribution mess.

Baudline on Lion? Maybe

Baudline on Lion? Maybe someone reading this forum can try it to see if there are any problems. Anyone have OS X Lion?
