Coding Standards

Hello Jrseti. I see that you created the Coding_Standards page and added it to the Main_Page#Resources section. While I agree that SonATA project Source Code Style Guidelines are important, this page really doesn't fit in the Resources section of the main wiki page. Since it seems to be SonATA-only related I have moved the link from the main wiki page and added it to the SonATA#See_also, GitHub#See_also, and Improve_the_setiQuest_Source_Code_Infrastructure#See_also page sections. I also added the Tech_Notes category to the Coding Standards page. The coding standards seem like a really good idea and we might want to apply them to the other GSoC projects as well. - SigBlips 15:33, 28 April 2011 (PDT)

A link to Coding Standards should be added to the page. I'd add it but I don't have the account permissions. Some people might find a link to GitHub#Tutorial in that page helpful too. - SigBlips 08:01, 29 April 2011 (PDT)

Hi there. I noticed that you made a series of edits on Coding Standards while trying to format a link correctly. I just wanted to point out that you can use the preview function before saving the page, so check that it looks the way you want it. Also, you might find this useful: wikipedia:Wikipedia:Cheatsheet. Yeah, I need to stop doing that. It muddies up the file history. Thanks for pointing that out. Jrseti 10:07, 12 May 2011 (PDT)

Upload new image version

I've noticed that you have uploaded several new images [1][2][3]. Did you know that you could of uploaded a new version to the original image file? It is an option at the bottom of the image page. This would of saved you having to manually change the links in the affected wiki pages. - SigBlips 10:02, 12 May 2011 (PDT)

You know everything! No, I did not know that, thanks. The reason I uploaded several version s is that previously I had trouble where I'd upload a new version but the old version kept showing up. I obviously did not notice this option. Thanks for the tip. Jrseti 10:06, 12 May 2011 (PDT)
